Asperger's Syndrome is an disorder characterized by difficulty in social interaction as well as restrictive and repetitive behaviors and interests.

Background[edit]

In the Season Fifteen episode "Ass Burgers", Cartman, mistakenly believed the disorder to involve literal "ass burgers", attempts to pass himself off as having the disorder by putting homemade hamburgers in his underwear and then selling them to the other students.

Stan Marsh is incorrectly diagnosed as having Asperger's Syndrome, due to his cynicism and lack of motivation.

His cynicism is thought to have been brought on by him having been vaccinated for the flu, a practice that some believe to cause autism and other neurological problems in children, a claim which has been widely disregarded by the scientific community.

In South Park, Asperger's is not a real disorder, in that it was used a front used by the Secret Society of Cynics to conceal their fight against fast food restaurants.
